The Men Tell All: Kasey Talks Tattoos
Kiptyn for Next Bachelor?
The Bachelorette: Kiptyn's a Locke for next Bachelor role
It's official: Kiptyn Locke has a lock on the starring role in the next Bachelor series. How do I know? On Monday night's "The Men Tell All" episode — from which the most interesting men, Wes and Reid, were conspicuously absent — Kiptyn was elevated to sainthood.
That's right: While bachelor Ed Swiderski, Kiptyn's official competition in next week's final showdown for Jillian Harris's heart, was shown stumblingly drunk and, um, passing gas at one of the rose ceremonies, Kiptyn was shown passing words of wisdom on to kids at his hometown charity, where everyone cried a little over his unique ability to make a difference.
Previously unseen footage of Ed — whose good looks and straightforward, seemingly mature approach have won him a host of fans — showed Jillian trying to have a Serious Conversation with him at an early stage of the competition. Ed appears to listen hard, then says blearily, "That's a lot of words that you just threw at me," while Jillian laughs indulgently.
Then we see Ed doing a little drunken dance for Jillian in a hotel hallway, while she helps prop the more-than-six-foot man up. "Ed is the happiest, funniest drunk I've ever met in my whole life," she later enthuses. Only Jillian could see the silver lining in this wine-soaked cloud.
The Bachelorette: Jillian Harris Tells All
Dumped Men Return for 'The Bachelorette' Special
Dave apologizes to Jillian for his behavior, Jake gets the pressure from the other guys and Jason Mesnick comes to the show to update his status with Molly Malaney.
One week before Jillian Harris has to land her decision on who she would want to marry, "The Bachelorette" airs a special episode. Bringing back the guys whom Jillian has dumped in the previous weeks, the episode is called "Men Tell All" and it shows the guys' side of story.
As many as 13 guys, including foot fetish Tanner P., punch bag Juan and least favorite contestant Dave got the call back to appear in the episode. Missing from the line-up were Reid, who was eliminated last week, and Wes whom the producers didn't invite back due to a specific reason.
"Wes did originally decline coming on the show. At the eleventh hour he had a change of heart and wanted to be on the show," host Chris Harrison explained, adding "Wes had called several of the guys to make sure they would back him up if he came back and only then did he call and ask to be back on the show. ...He doesn't matter in the grand scheme of Jillian's life so there's no reason to put up with any more of his Texas sayings and shenanigans."
Still, Wes' presence was felt when the guys discussed about Jake's decision to spill that Wes had a girlfriend. The other 12 guys criticized him for throwing Wes under the bus and for the fact that he "pulled a Mesnick", which is crying on the show in reference to the latest Bachelor, Jason

Liveblogging “The Bachelorette”!

Tonight! The! Men! Tell! ALL! Will Cowboy Wes be there? Will he and Pilot Jake brawl? Will the Angry Meathead try and start more crap with Hola Juan? You guys, I am so excited to see those old faces! Tear.
8:00 Regarding last week’s rose ceremony dress—I saw something similar at Club Monaco. Wonder if she wore a different version… Oooh, do you guys think we’re gonna find out who the next “Bachelor” is. Also, seems like Angry Dave is still in DENIAL about Jillian not liking him. Oh, also, Papa Bach and Molly are back to whine! Haha, Wes’ name resulted in boos from the audience.
8:03 Jillian says she doesn’t care at all about Tanner’s foot fetish and if the worst thing she had to deal with in someone is them wanting to suck her toes, she wouldn’t care. I think that’s pretty awesome, even though it would gross me out. Jillian obviously can’t stand Angry Dave and says he was disrespectful and that hopefully he’ll see that. Fat chance. So Ed—I think the way they’re talking about him is making it seeeeem like Jillian has a big ol’ thing for him, but I think he’s too obvious a winner.
8:07 Yeah, Jillian, what DID you see in Wes? I think he fit what she wanted on paper and she ignored the red flags, though Jillian says that she didn’t see any of them, since only the viewers did. She says it’s clear now that Wes came on the show to sell CDs, though she seems less sure as to whether he had a full-on girlfriend while he was on the show. Regardless, she sees his true colors now. ABOUT TIME. I think it’s pretty obvious that Reid is the one who comes back next week to propose, right?
8:13 Unseen footage! Relationship advice from a Harlem Globetrotter! Who liked Angry Dave. Guess their advice sucks. Another piece of unseen footage—Ed seeming a lil’ drunk? And non-communicative? But apparently the happiest, funniest drunk ever! Which I am not necessarily seeing. Perhaps messiest? More unseen footage—snowball fight with Mike and Mark? Meh, I’m bored. Except Mark hit Jillian in the head with a snowball. And then he got eliminated? Coincidence? I think not. And it seems that Robby’s exit was more humiliating than we realized—it took an HOUR to get the whole thing accomplished.

WHERE WAS REID AT THE MEN TELL ALL?

What was the real reason why Reid was not there? Reid was not at the Men Tell All because 'he had a prior engagement."

Group A: Think of it as a jolly way to relive your favorite and never-before-seen moments from the season? You're a glass-half-full sort of person who tries to see the silver lining in even the darkest storm clouds. People tend to find your constant optimism constantly annoying.
Group B: Consider it a freebie week, when you can catch up on other business (favorite shows, that puzzle in the den, your self-google alerts, etc.) while casually flipping back during commercials to make sure you haven't missed anything? Wish someone would edit the ridiculous two-hours down to a 1-minute highlight reel so you didn't have to bother? You're an efficient opportunist for whom

THE BACHELORETTE: MEN TELL ALL PREVIEW SHOW
The Bachelorette Spoilers: Reid Rosenthal MIA on "Men Tell All," Cliffhanger Planned For "After the Final Rose"
Next Monday is the traditional “The Men Tell All” episode of The Bachelorette, which precedes the show's two-hour season finale the following week.
Two guys who won't be telling anything? Wes Hayden and Reid Rosenthal.
That's right. Despite being the most talked-about, hated man in Bachelorette history, Wes will not be on "The Men Tell All." This is almost certainly because he has been shafted somewhat by ABC and has since thrown the show under the bus.
Wes is pissed at the show for making him look like an d!ck and especially for outing Laurel Kagay. His omission therefore makes sense. Reid's? Not so much.
Last week, Ed Swiderski and Kiptyn Locke received roses from Jillian Harris while poor Reid was sent home. In every other season, the person eliminated in third place takes part in the "Men Tell All" episode. Reid, however, did not.
Why? Because according to the Bachelorette spoilers we posted yesterday, and what we've heard since, Reid Rosenthal plays a role in the finale.
Melissa Rycroft as a Bridezilla?

Since the announcement of the engagement, Melissa Rycroft’s wedding plans are now coming together and falling in to place perfectly, but it is all down to her fiancé Tye Strickland. The former Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars contestant, Rycroft has been telling people.com how Ty is doing more that she is when it comes to the planning of the wedding.
Melissa told People “At this point, I’m probably the worst bride in the history of brides.” She did add that she would rather be a bad bride than a bridezilla. It is nice to see that Rycroft has got her priorities straight and that is getting fit for her big day.

MOLLY BLOGS ABOUT THE MEN TELL ALL!
Our Weekend in LA - by Molly
Jason and I were invited back for the Men Tell All to give an update on how we are doing. It was a pretty exciting weekend, so I thought I would share a bit of it with all of you!
I flew in pretty late on Friday, but Jason was able to fly in at a decent time. Since he had some time to pass until I got in, he met up with an old pal for dinner...which has caused quite a stir in the gossip world this weekend. Deanna and Jason have remained very close friends since her season of the Bachelorette. I have also had the pleasure of becoming a good friend of hers, and she is one of the sweetest people I know. YES, I knew that they were going out for dinner, and YES I was more than okay with that. People got word of their dinner and immediately started stirring the pot with rumors. No need for hysteria...it was simply an innocent dinner among 2 friends. (Just thought I would clear the air)
Once I got in, we all met up for drinks. After catching up with De, we had a few more visitors join us. Holly, Tanner P, Michael, Mike, Sasha, Dave, and Robby all came over to hang out for the night. This was the first time that Jason and I were able to meet Jillian's guys. I still find it crazy that people get excited to meet Jason and I out in public because, I don't see myself as a celebrity. However, I have to say that I was a little star struck when I met all of these guys. I have been following them on TV for a few months, so it was neat to be able to actually talk and hang out with them. I guess I know now what it's like for people to see TV personalities out in public ;)
No matter what you have seen from them on the show, good, bad, or ugly, they are all amazing gentlemen. I don't want to call out my favorties because they are all great...but I will :) Tanner P and Michael are maybe the nicest guys that I have ever met. They are both very engaging and polite. Whoever nabs each of them are two very lucky ladies! The night lasted much longer than it should have, but it was a great time had by all.
Saturday, we were off to the studio to film the Men Tell All. When I was filming the Bachelor, I became very close with most of the producers, so it was so great to see all of them again. Jason and I were MOST excited to see Jillian. We have kept in touch since our season of the Bachelor, but I haven't been able to see her since she got back from filming. Jill looked gorgeous and was glowing, with a huge grin on her face. That tells me she is very happy! I am looking forward to seeing the finale of the show. I don't think she could go wrong with either of the guys left.
As for our part of the show, we just gave a simple update on how were are doing and how life has been since the finale aired. There were no BIG announcements, as some seem to think. They put a cute video together of Jason, Tyler and I out in Seattle. I think it will give all of you a better view of our lives together, outside of the updates and pictures you see here at Jason's place.
We hung around to see the guys segment, as well as Jillian's segment. There was a LOT of bickering from the guys, but I will save those details so you can see for yourselves on the show. After filming ended, we all went to the wrap party. I was able to meet the other guys from the show that weren't with us on Friday night. I was most excited to talk with Jake. I wanted to see for myself if he REALLY is THAT nice is person... he is! That guy is quite a catch. Jake is very well spoken and friendly. He is a sweetheart.
After an eventful weekend in LA, Jason and I were both on a plane, first thing this morning, to head back home. I had a great time meeting everyone, but it was even better being there with Jason. This has been a great month so far because, Jason and I are seeing eachother every weekend. Next week we are headed to Michigan for my cousin's wedding.
It sounds funny that I get so excited to see my boyfriend 3 weekends in a row, right? Well, I can tell you guys that we are both very ready to be living in the same city. Don't worry, you all will be the first to know when it happens.
That's all I have for now. Thank you, as always, for the continued support. I hope you all are enjoying the new site. I think it's amazing, and I am so proud of Jason for all of the hard work he has put into it.
Please keep in touch. I love reading all of your kind messages.
Until next time...
Molly

BACHELORETTE: POSSIBLE ENDINGS
Bachelorette Spoilers: Don't believe everything you read about Jillian's proposal, the next Bachelor
by Lindsay Connor, http://www.examiner.com/x-11850-Bachelorette-Examiner~y2009m7d14-Bachelorette-Spoilers-Dont-believe-everything-you-read-about-Jillians-proposal-the-next-Bachelor
The Bachelorette: Possible ending
With some potential foreshadowing earlier in episode 9, Jillian makes a comment that Reid is the guy she could see standing at the other side of that altar someday.
Reid's last words in the limo say it all. "It would have been a lot easier if I would've told her I loved her," he says. "If I could reverse things, I would."
And on that note, viewers are invited to speculate about one possible ending. (In many viewer's opinions, it's the most plausible.) What if Reid did not leave Hawaii, but stayed on the island long enough to make a dramatic comeback and proposal to Jillian, after she is turned down by one of her final two guys? In this fashion, he could show up in the last 5 minutes of the show and change everything, proving that he's willing to put himself out there, tell her he loves her and that he's willing to make sacrifices for her.
Remember that ABC is always inclined to promote a dramatic ending, and the producers will make special exceptions (like allowing Ed to leave the show and come back, or letting Jake return for a dramatic confrontation). Editing Reid in such a positive light and showing off him and Jillian as such a complete package, only to have him make a surprise return at the end--it's a brilliantly scripted possibility.
Bachelorette Jillian Harris turns up the heat in the fantasy suites
Three hot dates in Maui got even steamier on Monday night's episode as Bachelorette Jillian Harris invited each man back to her "fantasy suite" for a night of passion.
Things were starting to look X-rated as the Vancouver singleton started dousing Ed with body oil.
"I am absolutely falling in love with you... and I've never felt this way," confessed the 29-year-old technology consultant, as a doe-eyed Jillian met his gaze.
But things didn't exactly go to plan. Jillian emerged from the bathroom dressed in a sheer nightie, the couple kisses... and then, the camera cuts to the Ed relaxing on a pillow, ready for sleep.
Are the couple lacking passion? Or did Ed have a case of stage fright? Jillian was conflicted after the date, but a video message from Ed, in which he dropped the "love" bomb, made her decide to give him another chance.
It was Reid, the lovable Chandler Bing-like character, who was sent home after the rose ceremony. Despite spending a smooch-filled date with the 30-year-old realtor — kissing during a helicopter ride, kissing during a picnic, and later kissing in the fantasy suite — Reid admittedly had a hard time speaking about his true feelings. "I wish I could have opened up to her the way I should have," he said after the elimination. "It's definitely a tough moment; a surprising moment... I can definitely say I was falling in love with her." Kiptyn, the 31-year-old business developer, is still in the running for Jillian's heart. On their date, the couple took part in a beach-side rope course designed to build trust.
WILL REID RETURN?
Reid Rosenthal Dumped On the Bachelorette
![]() |
In a shocking episode last night, favorite to win Reid was booted by the Bachelorette. (ABC Images) |
Last night it was pretty clear - Bachelorette Jillian Harris would give Screech a rose if he told her she'd get a proposal out of him. Last night, the three remaining bachelors were whisked away to Maui where producers pushed Jillian to give the guys a second shot at the Fantasy Suite hump-fest, as she had denied them all before in Spain. And they all took her up on her offer, though apparently, Ed Swiderski suffered a bit of stage fright.
Reid Rosenthal, who shared the most obvious chemistry with Jillian, was the sensible and realistic bachelor - not promising a proposal, but also not disqualifying the idea either. He just flatly told her that his feelings for her were growing and that he didn't want to jump into something just for the sake of romance. He's a level-headed thinker and he went home because of it. Jillian pushed and prodded the final three for confessions of their undying love for her, but alas, only Ed, the same guy who left the show a few weeks earlier only to come back to proclaim he'd made a huge mistake, took the bait. Ed finally gave Jillian what she'd been looking for by dropping the L-bomb in a video message she watched before the rose ceremony.
Bottom line is Jillian wants an engagement. The person who gives it to her is secondary. So the final winner will be Ed as Kiptyn Locke already admitted he was not ready for an engagement. However, sources say differently. Want Bachelorette spoilers? They're here!THE BACHELORETTE: JILLIAN'S BLOG
via: http://tvwatch.people.com/2009/07/14/bachelorettes-blog-jillians-heart-wrenching-goodbye/
It’s a little harder to write my blog now that there is less fun, juicy gossip and more deep, heartfelt feelings. How do you put this into words? This week was a hard one to watch — that heart-wrenching goodbye with Reid, the close-to-inappropriate steamy scene with Ed, (um, did that almost top my hot tub scene!? Yikes!) and me almost barfing on myself on that totem pole with Kiptyn! I have to admit that a lot of feelings came rushing back when I watched the episode this week.
Before I forget, I have to tell you how I spent my entire morning (from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) last Tuesday ... Holy moly, you guys!!! I am having so much fun with them, though! And for all of you who sent out a special little ’shout out’ to me directly … I HEAR YOU! And THANK YOU! xo
I have to say that my date with Kiptyn was WAY funnier than could ever be revealed on the screen. I just about peed my pants about 10 times that day. The ropes course was definitely the most humbling date I think Kip or I have ever been on. Poor Kip looked like a baby giraffe on those ropes, and I couldn’t catch my breath I was laughing so hard! To make matters worse, there was a continuation of themes on this date. Well, it all started on the western date back in Los Angeles when Kip had to wear very tight chaps. Then on the flamenco date, those pants — well let’s just say he claims he had trouble zipping them up. So, when we walked up to the ropes course, I told him, “Well, thank God I’m not putting you in skintight pants!” Just then we looked at the instructor and the harness he was wearing and Kip just looked at me and said, “WAIT A MINUTE!!!!” Turns out the harness accentuated that “area” and we howled for the entire date!
Reid’s date was very bitterSWEET (I capped the sweet because it was more sweet than bitter). See, Reid and I had a very good energy together. When we were together, it was like an old high school crush. We rarely worried about the specifics and were always just so flighty together. What you didn’t see was that we actually got a couples’ massage on the beach before dinner. Soooo romantic! I highly recommend it (if you happen to be slumming around the beaches of Maui looking for something to do)!
Another funny thing happened on that date: I was waiting on this picturesque beach for him to arrive that evening, with tiki torches behind me and the smell of gardenia filling the air. Well, just as Reid came around the corner, a little crab came running toward me and I started screaming and jumping up and down. As you can imagine, Reid and I laughed so hard. We were both so curious about that little crab and couldn’t concentrate on anything else for the longest time! So, that feeling that I have been looking for was definitely there with Reid, but the promise of any sort of commitment or partnership wasn’t there. And because I have been hurt before by not being realistic, it made me put up a wall and inevitably led to me letting Reid go. I will have to agree with Chris in saying this had to be the most emotional goodbye in Bachelorette history.
Now Ed’s date. I definitely have to say Ed and I fit A LOT into that day — the catamaran ride, cliff jumping and swimming in the ocean, but the best part of the date was not something I had planned … it was Ed’s surprise. I was SHOCKED when he told me he brought his parents to Hawaii. I had been hearing about this Judy for so long, she became sort of a legend to me. I am positive I was more nervous than she was. And how about Ed’s dad and his classic quote “What the hell are we doing here?” That was another belly laugh moment. After all the hometown dates, I will have to say this was definitely one of my favorites. So real.
Again, I have to say that this episode tugged on the heartstrings. I have been blessed with these three individuals who are not only bright, genuine, charismatic, gorgeous and down to earth — but who respect me and adore me. I can now say with 100 percent conviction that it is possible to fall for more than one person when you are presented with individuals of this caliber.
Bless you,
Jilly Beans

ED COULDN'T PERFORM
'The Bachelorette' recap: SPOILERS AHEAD
Chicago's Ed Swiderski is one of the last two men standing on "The Bachelorette," but there have been "bumps in the road," as he puts it, to everlasting bliss with Jillian Harris.
Last night's episode was nothing short of a gaping pothole.
After Ed salvaged his job at Microsoft and worked his way back onto the show, he made up for lost time by flying his parents in to meet Jillian in Hawaii. It would be hard not to love them; "What the hell are we doing here?" asked his father, a rare voice of reason.
"I swear that I would get engaged if she picked me," Ed told him. "Honestly. I just have to pull the trigger." Afterward, Ed and Jillian retired to the "fantasy suite" to have "some intimate, cozy, sexy time," said Jillian. The lights went out . . . and then the lights went back on again. That doesn't usually happen.
It's hard to say exactly what the problem was. Ed explained, "I was very nervous, and uh, it just didn't happen. ... I couldn't show her that I really truly am in love with her."
