The Bachelorette: Is Jillian Harris Engaged? More Bachelorette spoilers

The Bachelorette Spoilers

http://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2009/07/the-bachelorette-spoilers-is-jillian-even-engaged/

Next Monday on the season finale of The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris finally makes her choice. Ed Swiderski and Kiptyn Locke are the last men standing. Except for the ousted Reid Rosenthal, who - Bachelorette spoiler alert - looks poised to return and possibly propose to Jillian in a surprising twist. The promo that ran after this week's "The Men Tell All" show - at which Reid was MIA - shows him returning to Hawaii for another shot at Jillian. What does Jillian say about who returns and what happens?

"I can't really tell you too much," Jillian tells ET. "I watched the tease for the finale, and I can tell you it is an exciting episode and a crazy day. I can't tell you who comes back, but it is all very traumatic, unfortunately."

WHERE WAS REID AT THE MEN TELL ALL?

What was the real reason why Reid was not there? Reid was not at the Men Tell All because 'he had a prior engagement."

'The Bachelorette' Men Tell All Special: Live Thoughts

full-group-bachelorette.jpgHow you view the "Men" or "Women Tell All" special during each corresponding Bachelorette or Bachelor season says a lot about you. And not just as a TV watcher. But as a human being. Where do you fit in?

Group A: Think of it as a jolly way to relive your favorite and never-before-seen moments from the season? You're a glass-half-full sort of person who tries to see the silver lining in even the darkest storm clouds. People tend to find your constant optimism constantly annoying.

Group B: Consider it a freebie week, when you can catch up on other business (favorite shows, that puzzle in the den, your self-google alerts, etc.) while casually flipping back during commercials to make sure you haven't missed anything? Wish someone would edit the ridiculous two-hours down to a 1-minute highlight reel so you didn't have to bother? You're an efficient opportunist for whom The Bachelorette is a guilty pleasure in an otherwise hectic and hollow life. You pretend you don't care, but you love this show, though you probably watch in secret to avoid shame from friends and coworkers. And so you can play your personal Bachelorette drinking game, no questions asked.

BACHELORETTE FINALE THOUGHTS

This is like one of those word problems in high school — "If Train A is traveling west at 80 mph and Train B …"

If the rumors are true, Kiptyn Locke has already been chosen as the next "Bachelor."

If that's true, then Ed Swiderski is the "winner" of "The Bachelorette," making good on his Monday night promise to propose if he's chosen in the end.

(Sidenote: That's half the battle. Jillian Harris just wants to get married to someone who wants to marry her. She's sort of in puppy love with everyone in the room, including, probably the camera guys.)

Then again, if A and B are true … is rumor C true, about Ed having a girlfriend back in Chicago? That's a shaky rumor, but everything on this show is so sketchy to begin with, I'm willing to believe anything. Then distrust it immediately afterward.

I've already decided this "unexpected confession" that happens two weeks from now (after The Men Tell All) is Jillian's "Honey Bear," Reid Rosenthal, returning to finally say he loves her.

Too late!

I wanted Reid in the end. She seemed most comfortable and natural with him. Her main problem seemed to be that he recognized a couple of months with a person was too short a time to lay it all out on the line. That's sanity.

Ed, on the other hand, just skates through this show like it's all a game. I think Reid didn't say the words Ed (or is it Richie?) did because Reid actually took them seriously.

Ed was part of the group that showed up "late" on the first episode. He left Jillian for work. He came back and seemed unenthusiastic about it. When he and Jill are talking – not making out, just talking – he tends to look away a lot. He felt pressure during the fantasy suite date (could it have been THE CAMERAS??) and Jill wasn't feeling the passion.

He will probably put his work before her and continue to check his work e-mails at 9 p.m., which Jill will not be able to take, especially now that she's gotten so used to the attention.

But I don't think Kiptyn is right for her either. He's so clinical — from his "thank you" last week at the rose ceremony, to this week's "good luck."
