Desiree Hartsock Moves to Seattle This Weekend!

It's a busy weekend for former Bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock. Des is moving from her LA home to Seattle to be with fiancé Chris Siegfried. Des tweeted her goodbyes saying that "it was hard to leave her friends" but she's excited to start her new life with Chris. The couple has even gotten their own apartment together (Chris moved out of his old apartment so the newly engaged couple could start fresh with new memories).

Desiree says that Chris (not Brooks) is her soulmate. Des writes in her blog for People Magazine,

"The proposal from Chris will be one of the most defining moments of my life. I was nervous to tell him everything I needed to say but if I wanted our relationship to last, I would have to start with honesty. He looked so nervous walking towards me and at the same time incredibly dashing, so right away I wanted to scream, "YES! I will marry you!" But, of course, he would have to ask me first. I wasn't sure what he was going to say but once I told him everything and he kissed me, I knew that he wouldn't let that get in the way of what we had.  As Chris got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, I had no doubts in my mind that I wanted to marry this man. Saying yes and telling him I loved him for the first time was so surreal and a feeling I could never duplicate. I was overcome with joy and happiness. The ring is the most stunning thing I have ever seen but the meaning behind it is even more beautiful."

The couple has said that they plan to have a 2014 summer wedding. Here's hoping this Bachelor couple makes it down the aisle. We hope they do!

As with Sean and Catherine, I wish you and Chris God's Blessings beyond belief and may you both be happier than you could have ever imagined. I am just thankful that you do not have to test your love for each other right off the bat, with DWTS, like Sean and Catherine had to do. That is so unfair to be put through that right after thhe proposal. Sean and Catherine could be a lot closer to having a wedding had they NOT had that darn DWTS hanging over their heads.

God Bless both of you Des and Chris and I will be watching for your wedding.

Dear Des and Chris,

Hope you both have a very happy and healthy life together. I think you fell in love on the baseball field, but maybe that's just when I saw it:) Best wishes!
