Does Wes Have a Girlfriend?

Rumor has it that some of the boys might have a girlfriend back home.  Naughty boys!
News articles are speculating on who these naughty boys might be....

Is Wes similar to Deanna's Graham? Does Wes just want a music career more than a wife?

If Wes Hayden joined The Bachelorette to jump start his music career, then he got what he came for. The ABC reality dating series has just aired two episodes and yet the country singer from Texas has already become the subject of much controversy. After speculations that this bachelor isn't really looking for love on the show, rumors are now swirling that he has a girlfriend of three years. Although this is still unconfirmed, I'm not really surprised to learn that Wes has a girlfriend. Besides his questionable intentions towards this seasons' love searcher, Jillian, he seems like the kind of guy who will break your heart. Moreover, Jillian has had some bad vibe about him during their one-on-one date but she second-guessed her intuition and gave him a rose instead, leaving Wes still in the running.  Some people, including those who are in relationships, would go to great lengths just to get their 15 minutes of fame so when you think about it, the idea of joining a reality dating series for publicity is not that far fetched. Wes is 32, after all, and is too old for mainstream singing competitions such as American Idol, though he could still try out forNashville Star.

Perhaps ABC deliberately picks a few guys with girlfriends to spice up each season of The Bachelorette? At any rate, word on the street is that Wes makes it to the finale four --- just when Jillian finds out that he has a girlfriend and sends him home.

Ladies do love a man who can sing!

Please don't let Wes be the scum bag. I don't even think that Graham had a girlfriend and i think that Deanna asked him about that. Hopefully Jillian will ask Wes if she has doubts.

I know Wes from high school and he doesn't seem like the guy who would have a girlfriend and go after another. He was such a good singer back then.

Jillian is still fairly young and we don't learn until much later how wise our inner chick really is. Too bad listening to our intuition really saves a lot of heartache. As long as she isn't hurt and I hope Kate is correct that Wes isn't that type.

Joanne- I think that Jillian will end up marrying a really nice guy, but she is more likely to find a good guy some place other than tv

Well if she didn't find a great guy at our school not sure what's up. I work at the institute she graduated from for interior design - lots of great guys!!! But I am prejudiced my son is also a grad.

If Jillian picks Wes and he's been lying the whole time, then it's a decision she'll have to live with. Then again, she can just dump him or another in the final talk show like the bachelor did. No honest, hard-working, intelligent person would go on a reality show to find their "true love."

I theorize that the show producers do a psychological analysis/personality test on the season's "bachelorette" or"bachelor" in advance to determine if that person thinks they could fall in love fast or find love in that manner. The producers probably look for candidates who either have incredibly optimistic outlooks on being able to find love, or feel that they can fall in love quickly.

Obviously this is not a normal show, and it does not mirror reality. The couples have these amazing adrenaline-producing "dates" and then wonder why they feel this attraction for whomever they are with on the date. I think a certain personality profile is what they look for in all the contestants as well.

What is the record so far; one happy couple out of all of these shows? That isn't a very good track record.

if wes has a gf, she's as big a loser as he is, what woman would let her boyfriend go on this show to promote himself, there are other ways to promote yourself out there other than pretending and lying your way through a relationship. she must be looking for fame through wes as well...wes was one of my favs when the show first started but now i can say i will not be buying his new cd...he would have been better off never letting the cat out of the bag with his true intentions, he seems to be very talented... i know the music industry is very competitive, i have good friends in the music biz and you can make it if you are talented and persitent, using people to get what you want is not a very good character trait....i am thinking his cd is named laurel...and that is his girlfriend

just seeking this information for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your website. I wonder what is the Google's problem that does not rank this type of informative web sites closer to the top. Normally the top sites are full of garbage.

At a used book sale, you purchase a leather-bound volume. At home, you thumb through the pages and an old letter tumbles out. worse.
