Former Bachelorette, Jillian Harris is sleeping on the street for a good cause. On November 15th, Harris (and her boyfriend, JustinPasutto) are one of many celebrities who are taking part to raise awareness for homelessness and the Covenant House. Here's why Harris decided to take part in this cause.
"I'm
sleeping outside for Covenant House to experience first hand the
adversity and hardships that too many people and teens have to
experience. Its a prime example of taking things for granted. While I
ponder what thread count i should purchase for my bed - its a harsh
reality check that just having a bed is luxury enough. Educating myself
& using that eucation and experience to try to make a difference,
try to raise awareness and understand what it takes to make a
difference."
