Remember in past seasons when Bachelor contestants came on the show with a boyfriend or girlfriend? You remember Rated R Justin Rego (Ali Fedotowsky's season) who ran off the set and into the bushes when Ali confronted him about having a girlfriend. And you must remember Bentley Williams, the rudest man in bachelor history who deceived Ashley Hebert and probably had 2 or 3 girlfriends back home. Chris Harrison and show producers weren't that nice to Bentley or Rated R. Were they nicer to Casey because she was a girl?
Now, we find out that Casey Shteamer came on the show still in love with her ex-boyfriend (Michael Patak), and Harrison couldn't had been more nicer. What's with that? In his NEW Bachelor blog for EntertainmentWeekly.com, Harrison talks about Casey and her boyfriend drama.
Chris Harrison writes:
"We heard from Casey’s former boyfriend and a couple other people that Casey had spent serious time with him leading up to the show and that she still had serious feelings for him. In fact, her ex-boyfriend explicitly told us that he was currently in a relationship with her. I’ve said before that one thing I regretted during Ashley’s season is not going further and telling her more about Bentley and his intentions. I wasn’t going to let that happen again. Now, I want to make it clear that in my opinion Casey didn’t come on the show with bad intentions; she didn’t come on the show to deceive Ben.... I think Ben — who was caught completely off guard — wishes he had reacted a little differently in the moment. Casey was emotional and Ben didn’t exactly react as he normally would in this kind of situation. In the end it was right for Casey to leave the show. Whether she’s in love with her old boyfriend or not is and was irrelevant. It’s very clear she isn’t in the right state of mind to find love with Ben right now"
Is Casey still with her boyfriend? It seems so. According to her LinkedIn profile, she works as a Trading Assistant at TopstepTrader (Her boyfriend's company).
So the question remains who were these other people who ratted on Casey S?

It is not a fair comparison to compare Casey S. with Justin Rego or Bentley Williams. For Chris Harrison to try to determine what the poor woman was feeling and oust her because of that was just plain stupid. Feelings change, and she obviously was trying to give Ben a chance. For all Chris Harrison knew, the ex-boyfriend could have been a control freak, and did not want her to move on to a different relationship. I think both Chris Harrison's and Ben's actions regarding this poor woman were cruel and unfair.
I don't understand why Casey S was let go and Courtney is allowed to stay. Courtney's intentions are clearly evil. Also, they never took Bentley off the air between Courtney and Bentley they are the most manipulative and cruel people the show could find.
