The Bachelorette Episode 3: Goodbye Bentley!

This week on The Bachelorette Week 3!

1-on-1 Date: Ashley takes Ben C. to a private dance studio where she attempts to teach him a few quick dance steps. A little out of his element, Ben C. manages to keep up, but that afternoon she takes him to an open air mall. As the couple practice their dance moves right there in public, hundreds of strangers join in behind them in a very large flash mob.

Group Date: When Ashley arrives at the mansion to pick up 10 men for a special group date, Jeff, the man in the mask, decides the time has come to finally reveal his face to the Bachelorette. Then it's off to the Comedy Store where roast master general Jeffrey Ross explains to the guys that they will participate in a roast - of Ashley - in front of a packed house. Some of the men are reticent about making jokes at Ashley's expense, but William decides to go for it, with disastrous results, bringing the
Bachelorette to tears. And things only get worse when she decides to find solace in Bentley's arms. Unbeknownst to her, he can't pass up an opportunity to "mess with her head."

Bentley Williams Dramatic Exit: Bentley delivers a knock-out blow to Ashley when he gives her the crushing news that will put an end to her hopes, and has her questioning if she can move on.  She knows she needs to somehow pull it together for an individual date with J.P., who deserves her full attention like the other men that are there.

Cocktail Party: Distraught over the difficult week, Ashley cancels the cocktail party and causes fear in the hearts of some of the bachelors.

You knew, ABC, that his intentions were wrong from the beginning show. YOU were WRONG for allowing him to stay for the ratings....we all get it.

I am appalled that ABC allowed this degradation to air on television. It is sad that in this day and age, we allow women to be treated that blatantly humiliating right in the public eye. What is worse is that I don't think there is a woman out there whose jaw wasn't on the floor and their hearts were left with no hope for men in general. It wasn't just Bentley...it was practically every man on that show. Their actions mimic a group of animals trying to hone in on the final kill. Nothing more than a competition to win. What used to be an enjoyable fantasy on Monday night, has now a become fear of what is next. Wow what a way to make a match....
