When Jason Mesnick of The Bachelor broke up with Melissa Rycroft on national TV in order to pursue his second choice, Molly Malaney, he unleashed the wrath of public scorn.Still, Mesnick seems confident he made the right choice - and has confirmed he and Malaney are the on the road to matrimony.
"Things are going great," he said during an appearance on Good Morning America. When asked if there would be any wedding planning in the couple's future, the single dad confirmed that the pair will "absolutely someday" tie the knot.
Mesnick and Malaney's appearance on GMA comes just a couple of days after Rycroft announced her own engagement on the same program.
The 26-year-old, who only grew more popular in the public eye after she was jilted by Mesnick, said she will be marrying her longtime friend, Tye Strickland.
Mesnick became the Bachelor after he was dumped by Bachelorette Deanna Pappas in favor of Jesse Csincsak.
