Dear Ashley,

I cannot tell you how sorry I am this happend to you. I too, just went through the same thing. For two years this man was so sincere, told me he loved me and wanted to start a life together. Come to find out, he was saying the same things to several other women. Whenever something better came along for the moment, I got viscously dumped. He stood me up on Thanksgiving, stood me up for any plan we have ever made to do something together and in the end, after traveling 3,000 miles to see him, practically threw me out of the vehicle on the way by the hotel. I felt the same way in that had he just told me he wasn't interested, I would have been fine with that. But instead he played me, enjoyed using me and hurting me. I will never understand how anyone could think this is cool, but rather cruel. This behavior is the utmost lack of class and I sincerely hope other women will not fall for, or condone the same. Thank you for your inteviews, comments and strength. This event is helping me to get past the pain and humiliation. Good on you! I hope you find what you are looking for! ~Noelle

I have another take on this. Bentley expected the "date rose" after you had that intimate conversation on the third date, and then you gave it to...someone else. Had you given him that rose, he would have stayed, at least a little longer. Despite what he said to the camera, he was clearly attracted to you. He may have been resisting, because you didn't fit his 'list' but he also didn't like competing, and that was part of his problem. Saying he was in it just to mess with you was a defense mechanism.

Anyone else getting sick of Ashley pining over Bentley??? It's totally nauseating to see a woman acting this way over someone she barely even knew!! Put on your big girl panties,Ashley, and start acting like you're mature enough to handle a relationship, for cryin out loud!!! Pathetic!!!!

I agree with the second comment!! I thought the same thing, he wanted that rose. It was a self defense thing. He has to win all the time even I'd it is just the rose. Not that that makes it any better, he is a total jerk and obviously messed up in the head. My husband vaguely knows him from previously working with him and I keep telling him to find out where he lives so I can go throw eggs in his mailbox or something!! As my husband says - total douche!! Ashley you're better off with out him and I hope things work out in the end.
