I just went back and watched some snippets of Ali's season's first episode, to confirm whether or not Ashley's season really is as flat as it seems. I didn't see anything on Ashley's first night that remotely compared to Ali's instant connection with Roberto, and even Ali's first date with Frank was so much more real and intense than Ashley's dates with both Mickey and William. Ashley reeks of desperation and is far too eager to impress, rather than sitting back and letting the guys feel as though they actually need to make an effort to win her affection. Both Jillian and Alli pulled off the role much more naturally - does anyone else agree???
