In this episode of The Bachelorette, Jillian continues her efforts to answer the question, How many rose-petal trails must a girl walk down before she finds The One? She takes the three remaining bachelors to Maui, where they will share romantic dates and have the opportunity to get to know each other better in the Fantasy Suite.

After a recap of the dates in Spain, the show opens with Jillian walking along the beach and out into the ocean in a beautiful Hawaiian landscape. She stops to draw a heart in the sand with “J + ?” in it, except the ? may have been a “W” before it was edited. She tells us how excited she is by the idea of a proposal, an engagement, and a fiancé and hopes someone up there, pointing to the Hawaiian sky, or in here, pointing to her chest, will tell her which of the three amazing men to choose. To be fair, Jillian has so far avoided overuse of “amazing” and “connection,” but we’re getting near the end now, and it’s time to step up the Bachelor-speak.
