BACHELOR: Conference Call with Ashley Hebert!
During tonight's episode of The Bachelor: Women Tell All, Ashley Hebert confronts Brad about why she was sent home. During a conference call interview earlier this week, Ashley talks about her experiences on being on The Bachelor and if she would be the next Bachelorette.
On your fantasy date night (in South Africa), what did you guys talk about other than mosquito nets that we didn't get to see during your time there?
Ashley Hebert: Oh gosh. Brad and I talked about a lot of things. You know, I feel like we should have talked about the important questions that we touched upon at dinner, but we just continued on with a really fun, light relationship and I think that's where things went wrong. We had the opportunity to kind of talk about the more serious things and I - we both opted to take the light route; the light way out again. And you know we didn't - we didn't - I didn't answer all the questions like he needed. He didn't answer all the questions that I had, so I think in the end, we ran out of time and that night was just the demise of our relationship.
Did you respect that Brad didn't put you through the rose ceremony and let you go before you had to go through that?
Ashley Hebert: Oh respect; oh absolutely, yes. I think that, especially after watching it and hearing all the things he said about, you know, pulling me aside instead of not giving me the rose. I have a whole new respect for him. You know, I left, you know, really heartbroken, but after seeing that, I think it kind of helped me put a little bit of closure and solidified what kind of relationship we had, which was like a very - one that was full of respect and you know mutual admiration. So I'd have to say that, you know, that made things a lot easier for me to hear him say that.
If Brad had offered you a rose that night, would you have accepted it and do you think you could have gotten your relationship back on track?
Ashley Hebert: I don't - I think at that point I had a lot of questions about our relationship as well. Looking back, if I were to go back, knowing what I know now, I would have certainly accepted it, but in that point in time I had so many questions, I think - I don't know that I wouldn't have accepted it, but I think we would've had to have a very good conversation before I would have accepted it.
Would you consider being the next Bachelorette if given the opportunity, or if now, maybe participating in the second season of Bachelor Pad?
Ashley Hebert: Oh gosh. Yes, I'm - I don't think I would be as happy about Bachelor Pad, but if they asked me to do the Bachelorette, I would definitely consider it. I feel like the process worked for me once and I would be so excited to do it, but Bachelor Pad, I don't - I'd have to really think about it.
Who do you think is the best match for Brad?
Ashley Hebert: You know it changes. It changes from week to week. I thought Chantal O. until last episode and now I'm a little bit more apt to say that he's falling in love with Emily. So in terms of what I think Brad wants out of life and in a relationship, I think Emily's probably a better match, but I love him and Chantal together. I love the way they complement each other well and they bring out kind of like this playfulness that I really like to see. So I guess it changes from week to week.

But his woman hasn't been thrilled watching Brad kiss other women. Womack tells People Magazine, "Every Monday night since Jan. 3 has not been a good night at my house... Do I think this woman is the one? Damn right I do," he says. "I probably shouldn't say this but my heart was in a specific place pretty early on. I'm in love.....There's strength there and a real relationship," he says. "She's tough. We have our ups and downs but we're fighting through and making it work."

Shawntel Newton thinks it's a good idea to "recycle" former contestants as the prime "Bachelorette" to be able to offer a true sense of empathy with the pursuers. "If they asked me to be the next 'Bachelorette,' I'd probably do it," she asserted.

Reality Wanted: Watching the show was really frustrating because Brad just kept wanting you to say you wanted to get married and have kids.
Ashley Hebert: I think there was a lot of miscommunication. I feel like I'm at an age where I'm ready to settle down but I really think it was a lack of communication. I have to admit that, throughout the whole process, I went in and didn't expect to feel as strongly as I did. I guarded myself and I definitely learned a lot from that.

Chris Harrison: Well maybe, maybe not. I know a lot of people think that she’s already chosen and every year that it’s already sealed, but for us, we really want to know what the fans think and see what the reaction is at the end of this and see how it plays out. There’s really no reason for us to paint ourselves into a corner if we don’t have to. We’re in production for a while so why not wait and see what the fallout is from this Bachelor or maybe we meet somebody who everyone just falls in love with. There’s really no reason to nail it down yet.

Get ready for the The Bachelor Women Tell All! The women including Alli, Ashley H., Ashley S., Britt, Jackie, Madison, Melissa, Michelle and Raichel -- return to confront each other and Brad Womack! Crazy Michelle Money returns and comes under fire from the other women. A devastated Ashley H. admits she still has regrets about her last date with Brad, but what has she learned from her experience? And will Ashley S. find the closure she never got from the Bachelor after her disastrous two-on-one date?
The Hot Seat:
Chris Harrison brings Melissa, Michelle, Ashley S. and Ashley H. to the HOT SEAT!
Apparently, Michelle breaks down at the show when the women call her two-faced and think she is not a good mother. A tearful Michelle admits that her behavior is a defense mechanism and that she feels guilty for leaving her daughter. She claims that she really came on the show to find love for both her and her daughter. Watch for Michelle to get really hysterical and break down crying!
The Melissa/Raichel Feud:
Nothing has changed between Melissa and Raichel since their explosive fight at the beginning of the series. They really go at each other, as Melissa tries to explain herself and Raichel immediately reverts to calling her "poisonous" and "toxic," blaming her for ruining her chances with Brad. But the other women jump in and point to errors both women made, in an effort to calm them.

When a distraught Ashley H. takes the hot seat, she admits that she didn't really hear Brad when he tried to tell her how he felt about her the whole time, and that her retracting from him in the end was a way of protecting herself. Was she truly in love with Brad? This was an eye-opening experience for Ashley H., and she reveals how she has changed because of it.

Ashley discusses the impact her past bad relationships have had on her and why she was hopeful in dating Brad and getting the "first impression" rose. Her optimism turned to despair when Brad rejected her in Las Vegas, telling her she wasn't the woman he saw as his wife.
The Bachelor reveals that he is happier than at any other time in his life. This woman has changed his life, and he has fallen in love with her more and more each day.

Is Ashley H the next Bachelorette?
Chris Harrison: There will be a Bachelorette announcement very soon, but it will not be announced at the Women Tell All. It might be announced on After the Final Rose, but I can promise you as of Sunday night I was with the creator of the show, Mike Fleiss, and when I left him in the wee hours of the morning we did not have a Bachelorette picked. We don't make a decision right away because we really leave a lot up to our fans and viewers. Immediately after Ashley S's exit, everyone was clamoring for her, but maybe that will die down, so let's wait and see. Ashley H can easily be our Bachelorette and she's a contender, but it has not been decided. We're constantly going back and forth and the front-runners change 10 times. We play the show out and honestly I can see a show with Ashley S, Ashley H — I can see a show now with Michelle. You got to wait to see the Women Tell All. If we came out and said Ashley H is our Bachelorette and America's like we really want Michelle, well why would we have done that to ourselves?

The final date of the week went to Ashley. Who would have thought that Ashley would be afraid of helicopters? This is The Bachelor! She was pretty quick to come around and hop in, but this helicopter ride was a little different. Brad’s side of the chopper didn’t have a door, so he was just about hanging on the outside. When they landed at God’s Window in Nelspruit, the name spoke for itself. Views like this just don’t exist anywhere else. During the aerial tour of the bush, they even got to see something really rare: a pack of wild horses running through a clearing. While this was going on, back at base camp, an angry hyena tore through one of our coolers with its teeth and drank a lot of our water. Of course, we held off on dinner for Brad and Ashley for a while until we were sure the coast was clear. Maybe this was a sign, as this was a very emotional date for Brad and Ashley, and I think their up-and-down relationship was starting to wear on Brad. It’s a little close to the end to keep “retracting,” to use Ashley’s words....
I have so much more to say about Ashley, her exit and her relationship with Brad, but I’m going to hold off until next week. Next Monday night, all of your favorite bachelorettes from this season will be back to talk about everything you did see and some things you didn’t on The Women Tell All. "

"I'd like to explain why overnight dates are so important and what I used those nights away from the cameras for. I wanted to take the opportunity with all three of the women to talk, off camera, so we could all feel even more comfortable. By this time, I had gotten to know the women so very well and I wanted to feel confident in the fact that, after talking with each of them all night, I knew exactly what type of woman each of them is. I wanted to be confident that I actually knew these women as well as I thought I did. The overnight dates actually gave me quite a bit of clarity – clarity that I had been looking for!"
