The Bachelorette: Jillian Finally Sends David Home

One of the "bad guys" finally went home on last night's episode ofThe Bachelorette. I'm referring to David, a 27-year-old trucking contractor from Ohio, who froze and chocked up upon meeting Jillian in the premiere episode and who later received the First Impression Rose. But not all first impressions last. David was initially portrayed as a quiet yet likable contender on The Bachelorette. Four episodes later, however, his true colors were unmasked and the douchebag inside him came out. The last straw, which I guess is what made Jillian decide to send him home, was his time alone with Jillian where he proved to be a total jerk.  In the one-on-one, David reminisced on receiving the First Impression Rose before complimenting Jillian's ass in spandex at the curling match. He didn't seem to grasp that he's turning Jillian off so he continued dropping words that had to get bleeped and even leaned for a kiss. Of course, Jillian rejected his advances and clearly wanted the gentleman David back but David was busy getting a little too comfortable. David's aggressiveness even went so far that he questioned why Jillian wouldn't kiss him when everyone else had gotten a kiss. In spite of everything, David still considered Jillian as a challenge since he's never been turned down for a kiss before, adding that she's just into him.  Jillian obviously felt disrespected and after witnessing how much of a maniac David was, I was pretty convinced that David wouldn't make the next cut. True enough, Jillian eliminated Dave, together with 28-year-old New York baseball camp owner Mike and Juan, a 35-year-old California contractor.

Unfortunately, Wes, the other questionable suitor, is still in the running. But at least now that David is gone, fans have one less bad guy to worry about.
