Bachelorette rumours swirl: Will Ed be back?
The man who chose his job at Microsoft over Jillian Harris on the most recent episode of The Bachelorette might not be gone for good, suggest reports circulating on the Internet.
Ed Swiderski, an IT consultant from Chicago and one of the top ten reality-show contenders for Harris's heart, opted to leave the show after caving to pressure from his boss, disappointing fans and bachelorette alike.
The Chicago Sun-Times tracked down Ed's mother, Judith Elliott of Dundee, Mich., who rationalized her son's decision, saying, "He had just gotten this job. He wanted to keep it."
Interestingly, Ed himself was nowhere to be found. ABC's representatives explained his absence from the usual media rounds by saying — what else? — that he's busy with work.
Come on, they seemed to suggest: The guy's such a workaholic he had to leave a reality show in the midst of flowering love; how could he possibly spare time for interviews? Especially when he's no doubt signed a long and detailed contract obligating him to said interviews.
Between the rose Ed insisted on taking with him on Monday's episode — rather than returning it to Jillian — and his sudden unavailability, I'm guessing Ed might not yet be dead.
And hasn't Jillian hinted at a dramatic turn of events in several interviews? I'm putting two and two together and getting Ed. Stay tuned to see if the speculation is right.

Well I hope its all good no matter whether he comes back or not (hoping for yes). I would expect he made a deal with the producers to go home and put out fires but if he really felt like he made the wrong decision he could come back. Sometimes its separation that brings true feelings to the front (speaking from experience).
I hope he does come back. Ed had this brooding
sexy way about him.
So what's the deal with letting Jake go? He has the most heart "out there on the table" and gave her his all. He is definitely the one for marriage and a life together including family and successful job, to me thats a no brainer. Why did she let him go, I thought they had time to develop more chemistry with going back to Dallas.
Ed is definitely sexy. I hope he comes back, too. He and Jillian are so cute together. I really do think he was sad to leave. Hope he is back on the next episode.

Jake was booted off because he was rather socially awkward. Like come on... some of the stuff that guy said made me cringe it was so wierd. Also he just tried too hard to... way to hard. It seemed nothing really came from him, it was just to please her. Which Jillian saw through...
