Bachelorette Jillian Harris: "I want somebody to tell me if I have a Booger in my nose"

VANCOUVER — Jillian Harris, Vancouver’s most famous singleton, says she wants a man who will tell her if she’s got a booger in her nose.

She’s hoping to find him on reality television.

The 30-year-old star of this season’s Bachelorette — a competitive dating show with 30 men competing for Harris’s heart — says she’s never been able to find a local match.

“I think Vancouver men, I don’t want to generalize, but in my experience, they have a hard time committing,” she says, adding it’s hard to meet men in Vancouver.

“[Vancouver’s] so open and relaxed that maybe people really enjoy their independence and enjoy being single. Maybe that’s it?”

“I’m not looking for a Ken doll of a husband, somebody that’s always going to say the right thing. I want somebody that’s going to tell me if I have a booger in my nose. I want them to tell me about it.

“I want somebody to have fun with me and to poke fun at me. I want somebody to be raw and to tell me who they really are,” says Harris.

“I’m looking for a real connection, not just Mr. Perfect.”

So did she find him?

“I can’t even say whether I found love or not,” she says. “I can tell you that the ending is, like, brilliant,” she says, adding “those last five minutes of the show made it all worth it.”
