Bentley knows how to play with a woman's feelings, he didn't release her but left her wondering about him. Not surprisingly, Ashley wanted to see him again. This will disturb the rest who view him as mainly competition rather than a total jerk. I do not fault for what Ashley did like them guys on the show, she needed closure. It wasn't her fault, it was Bentley playing games for his future acting career. I bet after watching this, she was in shock, feeling used by him and questioning herself how she could have fallen for such a jerk. But she is strong, the journey of life is full of learning lessons, some harder than others. When it all said and done Bentley will be alone, but not Ashley! :)
Okay, Mike ... be and "enabler!" Rather than place blame, why not see how BOTH contributed to this debacle? While I have ZERO respect for Bentley (and/or whoever wrote the script for the show), Ashley MUST realize that she had choices! She CHOSE to continue to like him after he treated her like crap, and that says more about who Ashley is, than who Bentley is. If Ashley is SO INSECURE as to think this guy was even REMOTELY interested in her after, what, NO one-on-one date, VERY LITTLE conversation, and a PRIOR WARNING, then ASHLEY needs to take a step back and ask herself WHY she is allowing this type of abuse. My opinion? Co-dependency/comfort zone from growing up (allegedly) with an alcoholic parent. Get it together, Ashley ... you will NEVER have a viable relationship until YOU FIX YOU!
Whoa Grandma, where we watching the same show??? Bentley didn't treat Ashley like "crap", he treated her as if he REALLY cared about her. He was attentive when she was feeling down, swept her off her feet in front of a roaring fire, stroked her hair, pretended to be a dedicated Dad, he talked her up...saying in front of the guys and her that she had a great ass....the only ones who know that he's pond scum at this point of the show are the crew, and the viewers. Ashley thinks by what Bentley has said to her that he really likes her too...and with that damn dot, dot, dot..led her to believe he wants a possible future. She's only being co- dependent if she KNOWS as much as we do, and still chooses to the be strung out by him. Is she insecure? Ever so. Was she really ready do do a show like this? It doesn't appear so, but I do hope she finds her happy ending. If nothing else she should come out of this wiser and stronger.
