Jillian Harris gets close to Wes.

Bachelorette bad boy, Wes, has managed to weasel his way into Jillian Harris's final four.

In a rose ceremony shocker, the self-promoting country singer was handed the fourth — and final — rose on Monday night's episode, thereby eliminating goofy break dance instructor Michael and gorgeous wine maker Jesse.

All this despite a surprise appearance from Jake, the previously voted-off commercial pilot, who felt the need to finally break the news about Wes's girlfriend.

"Her name is Laurel," confided Jake. "We've talked about Laurel more than three times. I'm so sorry. I want you to be happy. I want you to pick the guy who worships the guy you walk on because you don't deserve anything less — and Wes isn't the guy who's going to do that."

A "heartbroken" Jillian decided to confront Wes. But just when we thought the Vancouver reality TV star had finally seen the light, she gives him another chance.

Wes denies all, assuring her he doesn't have a girlfriend.

"I'm not here to play any games. I'm really not," he says.

And this wasn't the only surprise guest of the episode.

Ed, the 29-year-old technology consultant who left the show in Whistler in a bid to save his career, begged Jillian to take him back, saying he'd made a "huge mistake."

"I got home and I could not stop thinking about you," he gushed. "I felt like I need to re-prioritize what I'm doing, and I think I want to be here with you. I think I want another shot."

The brunette singleton has also opted to keep Reid, the 30-year-old realtor from Philadelphia, PA, in the running. A visit to his hometown involved lots of kissing and hugs in front of the family, much to their surprise.

Afterward, Reid confessed: "I think I could be falling in love with her."

Kiptyn, the 31-year-old business developer from Encinitas, Calif., shared a steamy hot tub scene with Jillian — now her token maneuvre.

Jillian's visit to Austin, Texas was nearly puke-worthy, as Wes immediately introduced his band and attempted to get some on-air promotion.

"We have a brand new CD coming out. I want people to hear it. I want people to like it," he boasts.

Meanwhile, a smitten Jillian watched on, cradling her beer bottle. It was "emotional," she cooed later. "I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest."
